Campus Recreation is lining up a wide variety of programs in early March.

On Thursday, March 5, Campus Recreation will host "Create Your Own No-Sew Fleece Blanket" for free, and participants can take their handiwork home. Pizza, snacks and blankets are provided by Auxiliary Services. There are only 30 spots available, and the registration deadline is Wednesday, March 4. Sign up online at imleagues.com/oswego.

A free healthy cooking class from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 6, co-sponsored with Auxiliary Services, includes some favorite game-day foods, such as chicken wings, sliders, quesadillas, chip dips and more that participants get to make and eat. Space is limited to 22 people for the event in the Mackin Kitchen, with signup at imleagues.com/oswego

Anybody who has always wanted to run the Color Run, but needs the motivation to do so, can join a six-week training program to prepare for the 1.5-mile event. No running experience is necessary. An informational meeting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, in Lee Hall will offer more information about the program. Signup is available at imleagues.com/oswego

In April, Campus Recreation will offer a Walking to Wellness Challenge. Participants join the challenge to compete against other students to see who takes more steps throughout the month of April. Each participant will receive a water bottle at registration and a T-shirt at the conclusion of the program after submitting their steps. There will be weekly prizes and a grand prize awarded to the person with the most steps. To sign up, visit imleagues.com/oswego.
