The college’s Office of Career Services remains connected with students and employers to provide services including virtual job fairs, interviewing advice, career exploration workshops and more.

A sampling of upcoming events:

On Tuesday, April 14, activities available to students include an “Ace Your Next Virtual Interview” webinar, hosted by Sherwin Williams; a syracuse.com online job fair; and a Schenectady City School District Virtual Hiring Event.

A Southern Teachers Webinar, which will help students learn about how to connect with hundreds of school districts in the South, will take place Wednesday, April 15.

A series of major and career exploration workshops will begin on Thursday, April 16. The program will repeat on April 20 and 27.

April 16 programs also will include a pair of graduate fellowship program information sessions hosted by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

"We have a very proactive initiative going on right now to find virtual events that our students can attend," said Gary Morris, director of Career Services. "This list is literally updated every day, so students might want to check back often."

Career Services also has started adding videos on a variety of helpful topics to YouTube. In addition, staff members continue to build and add resources on the Search for an Internship, Co-op or Job page including some companies hiring during COVID-19 and a search tool for virtual internships and jobs.
