SUNY Oswego University Police (UP) will host a free Community Cookout to connect with and thank the campus from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, in the Pathfinder Quad.
“We've partnered with Alpha Phi Alpha and Delta Phi Epsilon to help make this a well-attended, student-focused event with our officers,” said UP Chief Kevin Velzy. “We’re always open to getting feedback from students and the campus community, plus this is a fun way to make connections and thank students for their efforts.”
The pandemic forced cancellation of the event the past couple of years, but Velzy looks forward to having a safe, enjoyable outdoor gathering again.
The event has a rain date of April 29 in case of severe weather.
