SUNY Oswego's Facilities Services is discontinuing the burn run, which previously took place on a monthly basis. This run was used to legally dispose of sensitive documents.
Moving forward, the preferred method of disposal of these documents, including those with personally identifiable information or other protected information, will be shredding. Additionally, in alignment with the university's campus-wide print initiative, printing should be reduced to the greatest extent possible, thereby reducing the need to dispose of paper documents.
