The Fall 2023 round of the Faculty Scholarly and Creative Activity Grant application/review process resulted in three proposals selected for funding by members of the Scholarly and Creative Activity Committee, and ultimately approved for funding by Provost Scott Furlong. The funded proposals added up to $7,625 total.

The funded proposals are as follows:

  • Efficacy of mindfulness-based programming on undergraduate student self-compassion and stress

  • Testing Ionic Liquids for Their Ability to Store Nucleic Acids 
  • Faculty Member(s): Kestutis Bendinskas, Chemistry

  • Modeling Excited State Dynamics in Copper(I) Complexes 
    Faculty Member(s): Thomas Brown, Chemistry
