OCO (Oswego County Opportunities) is a private, nonprofit human service agency serving 15,000 people each year and partnering with SUNY Oswego Health Services, among other organizations.

OCO's more than 50 programs provide:

  • Assistance for the homeless
  • Education services for children, youth and adults
  • Reproductive health care for women and men
  • Independence for those with disabilities
  • Meals for the elderly, disabled and youth
  • Safety for the abused
  • Support for youth
  • Transportation for all

OCO comes to the Mary Walker Health Center every Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while college is in session to provide reproductive health care services to students (birth control, STI testing, routine women's health exams, etc.). They can also see students at their main office in Oswego the other days of the week.

OCO also provides free HIV testing to students through a mobile van. This service will be provided the first Thursday of each month in the parking lot of Mary Walker, starting this week -- Oct. 6.

If you have any questions about OCO, please call them at 315-598-4705 or speak to a SUNY Oswego Health Services team member in person or via email, whealth@oswego.edu.
