SUNY Oswego's department of human development welcomed five new initiates into the Nu Alpha Nu Chapter of Kappa Omicron Nu, the national honor society for human sciences.

The mission of Kappa Omicron Nu is to promote empowered leaders through excellence in scholarship, leadership and research in the human sciences.


The virtual initiation ceremony was held on Nov. 10, and welcomed these SUNY Oswego students into the chapter:

  • Adam Jimenez (Major: Human Development/Minor: Health Science)
  • Alyssa Calabrese (Major: Criminal Justice/ Minor: Human Development)
  • Jessica Silver (Major: Human Development/ Minor: Sports Studies and Health Science)
  • Kali Malcott (Major: Human Development/Minor: Health Science)
  • Sydney Fallat (Major: Wellness Management/Minor: Nutrition and Human Development)
