On Jan. 11 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., the Campus Technology Services (CTS) Help Desk self-service ticketing system will be configured to use multi-factor authentication (MFA). During this time frame, logins to self-service may be intermittent or unavailable.

The self-service ticketing system joins many other campus applications already configured to use the more secure method of authentication including myOswego, Brightspace and Zoom. MFA requires the use of your normal password along with a code sent to an app or phone.

After the Help Desk self-service ticketing system has been configured with MFA, you will start being prompted for MFA on your next login. The authentication will work similar to the other services already using it.

Note that once you use MFA with one browser-based service, you will not be asked for it again within the same browser per day.

For further updates, please refer to the CTS technology status page.

For any questions or concerns, please contact the CTS Help Desk.
