SUNY Oswego is pleased to announce the unveiling of its new University Calendar. Designed to help SUNY Oswego students, their families and supporters quickly find important dates and deadlines related to financial aid and scholarships; housing and dining; campus openings, closings, and breaks; campus celebrations and more, the new University Calendar will serve as an additional resource and supplement the existing Academic Calendar and Events Calendar.
“We made the decision to create a University Calendar, distinct from the official Academic Calendar, so that we can more holistically communicate to students and their families, as well as inform other campus community members, when crucial deadlines are approaching for important aspects of university life,” said Vice President for Student Affairs Kathleen G. Kerr. “We hope the University Calendar will be invaluable in providing transparency and clarity for timelines and initiatives that have in the past, been overlooked, and which we know are so important to overall student success and well-being.”
The new University Calendar is a comprehensive calendar that all members of the SUNY Oswego community can benefit from using. It displays important events and dates that can be easily sorted via audience, category and/or semester. A new mobile-first interface has also been added to help audiences navigate the calendar on their primary devices.
We encourage you to view the University Calendar web page or access it via the SUNY Oswego mobile app. Familiarize yourself with this new resource and, if you’d like, please provide feedback or suggest an event or date be added to SUNY Oswego’s University Calendar. The University Calendar will also be accessible as a hyperlink in each issue of Oswego Today.
