The Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) will host a four-part online discussion series titled "COVID-19: The Crisis as a Global Opportunity," with the first session on Tuesday, April 21.

"This 4 part online discussion series will feature Oswego faculty and staff discussing the ways in which we can use this crisis to create new opportunities to fight inequality, protect the environment, and strengthen our failing democracies  — opportunities that start at home, but are in solidarity with the whole world," said Ulises Mejias, a communication studies faculty member and director of the IGE. "Join us in remembrance of the fact that, even as a learning community practicing isolation, we must engage in critique and debate, particularly during times of emergency."
