A student Miss A Meal day on Thursday, March 9, and a request for faculty and staff donations will help earthquake relief efforts for Syria and Turkey.
On March 9, Student Association will team up with Auxiliary Services to sponsor this Miss A Meal program, where students can donate the cost of a meal in the dining halls to support international relief organization OxFam, and faculty and staff can make a monetary donation.
Faculty, staff and others also can make a donation via this secure website.
Oxfam, a global organization that fights inequality to end poverty and injustice, is providing direct suppport for earthquake survivors with food, water and shelter in both countries. The organization offers lifesaving support in times of crisis and advocates for economic justice, gender equality and climate action.
