I am pleased to announce the 2023 Oswego Reading Initiative (ORI) selection: "Corruptible: Who Gets Power and How It Changes Us."
Our ORI author is Professor Brian Klaas from University College London and a contributing writer for The Atlantic. This book examines the fundamental question of whether power corrupts people, or are corrupt people drawn to it? Brian will be on campus on Sept. 25.
I would like to thank the ORI committee for their dedication, their endless appetite for reading and always finding just the right book for our university community. I also would like to thank the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership for their co-sponsorship of this visit.
