The Oz Inclusivity Playbook – initiated by the college’s James A. Triandiflou Institute for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Transformative Practice – is developing an overview of multi-faith and secular holidays and observances, national holidays, heritage months and cultural celebrations reflecting the diverse experiences and identities that make up the SUNY Oswego campus community.

A submission form welcomes any educational programming or events from campus partners related to key fall observances.

The project unfolds with three key goals:

  • Collaborating and connecting with the campus community to offer and support programming, community spotlights and resource sharing around these observances.
  • Developing a streamlined and intentional resource to educate and engage the community in greater understanding.
  • Bringing awareness about cultures, traditions, beliefs and experiences that are embedded within the campus community.

The Triandiflou Institute is also interested in exploring any possible opportunities to collaborate centered on these observances.
