As a part of the university's Out-tober roster of events, members of the campus community are invited to learn about more than 50 years of LGBTQIA+ history and activism at SUNY Oswego at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium (room 132).
This event is free for all attendees, with free snacks and swags.
Professor Erik Wade of English and creative writing will moderate the panel and present an overview of SUNY Oswego's LGBTQIA+ history. Panelists include professsor Maureen Curtin from the English and creative writing; graduate student KT Merrick; and Renee Landers Jennings, former senior associate director of ResLife and Housing for SUNY Oswego. Alumnus and assemblyman Harry Bronson will also submit a video about SUNY Oswego's history and his experiences.
