Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

SUNY Oswego is converting to a new data management structure for its NY-Alert emergency notification system, and we need your help to ensure you continue to receive NY-Alerts should an emergency occur on campus, or if we need to inform you of a future campus-wide cancellation of classes due to severe winter weather.  To continue receiving NY-Alerts, you must re-register for NY-Alert via the online Emergency Contact Form.

For those who have not yet registered to receive NY-Alerts, this is an opportune time to sign up and begin receiving all upcoming alerts.  Visit the online Emergency Contact Form to sign up for NY-Alert today.

In the coming weeks, we will be scheduling a test of our campus emergency communication systems.  Take the necessary steps to register (or re-register) today so you can be a part of the upcoming test.  But more importantly, join others in ensuring that you receive critical information and guidance in the event of an emergency at SUNY Oswego.  For more information on our all-campus alerting system, visit our NY-Alert website.  Thank you and stay safe.

Regards,

Wayne A. Westervelt
