The popular KidsTech program returns this fall with registration now open for the STEM 4 Kids (kindergarten through grade 3) and Young Inventors for grades 4 through 6.

Developed and led by the university’s Technology Department, the program features highly engaging STEM activities that children can enjoy, while increasing their knowledge and skills as well as learning to solve problems with hands-on materials. Lessons are taught by pre service Technology Education majors and supervised by Technology Faculty.

Generous funding through National Grid will continue for the 2023-24 school year, which increases the quality of the materials children get to continue to learn with after the conclusion of the series.

Programs will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in October (Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25) in laboratories and classrooms in the historic Park Hall on the SUNY Oswego Campus.

Program registration costs $40 dollars per child, which can be made online.

If making the registration payment is difficult for any interested children or families, scholarships are available. Contact mark.springston@oswego.edu and/or karin.dykeman@oswego.edu for more information on scholarships.

All parents and guardians must read the Information, Guidelines, and Policies document, which is available also through a link in the first portion of the signup form.

Visit the registration page to access the online form and please note that refreshing your browser might be required for the form link to appear. A confirmation email and invoice should appear once you have submitted the form.
