The RISE (Research and Individualized Student Experiences) Office, supported by the Provost's Office, provides funding support for student presentations at conferences, exhibits or performances.

For the 2021-22 academic year, due to the continuing impact of  COVID-19 and following the Oswego Forward Plan, the RISE office can only provide support for student participation in virtual presentations at conferences, exhibits, or performances. Because the physical travel won’t be supported, in most cases, the RISE travel grant supports the registration (or other participation) fees at conferences, exhibits or performances.

To apply, visit the RISE webpage and fill out the application form along with a faculty sponsor form. Please read the guidelines for applying for student travel support (PDF) on the RISE webpage before preparing your request.

Student travel grant awardees are required to submit a summary of their experience to the RISE office within one month of the event.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact professor and RISE Coordinator Taejin Jung (taejin.jung@oswego.edu).
