Members of the campus community are invited to save the date to participate in the 1861 Giving Challenge to support SUNY Oswego students.

On Thursday, Sept. 29 -- one week from today -- the fundraising effort needs help from the Oswego family to maximize a matching challenge.

Jeff ’92 and Ginger Bray Sorensen ’93 will donate $100,000 to SUNY Oswego if 861 people make a gift in 1,861 minutes, starting at 8 a.m. (eastern) Thursday, Sept. 29 through 3:01 p.m. (eastern) Friday, Sept. 30.

For more information about the challenge, visit alumni.oswego.edu/1861givingchallenge.

You also can join the fun on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the #Oz1861 hashtag.
