The SUNY Oswego SEFA (State Employees Federated Appeal) planning committee will bring back its Thanksgiving Pie Sale from Oct. 25 to Nov. 5.
The Thanksgiving Pie Sale supports local communities that are in need of support. Proceeds made from this sale will benefit the Oswego area via United Way of Greater Oswego County and Human Concerns Food Pantry.
A variety of 10-inch pies from Ontario Orchards will be sold. Flavors include apple, apple crumb, apple-umpkin (layers of apple and pumpkin with crumb topping), pumpkin, cherry and blueberry. These pies can be purchased online through the SEFA storefront.
Baked pie orders will be available for pickup on campus Monday, Nov. 22, between 3 and 5 p.m. behind Lanigan Hall.
Employees may also donate pies to the Human Concerns Food Pantry for Thanksgiving distribution to local residents in need; they can make this donation on the form while ordering pies.
