The State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Fall Garden mums sale is now open, kicking off this year’s on-campus fundraising campaign that supports area charities.

Members of the campus community can purchase big, beautiful eight-inch potted mums provided by Oliver Paine Greenhouses in Fulton featuring colors that include yellow, white, lavender (purple), red (maroon) and bronze (orange). All proceeds from this popular event support SEFA’s 2022-23 campaign.

Plants are $10 each, or three for $25. Orders will be accepted through Tuesday, Aug. 31, via SEFA’s online store. Payment goes through the safe, secure CashNet portal (credit/debit card only).

Contact-free curbside pickup will be available at the north side loading dock of Lanigan Hall from 2 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8.

In addition to other fundraisers this semester, SEFA will partner with Fajita Grill in Oswego (244 W. Seneca St./Route 104) on Tuesday, Aug. 23. From 5 to 9 p.m. that day, the SUNY Oswego SEFA campaign will receive 10 percent of all sales.

Visit the SEFA website to learn more about SEFA and how it supports community causes.
