The inaugural SUNY Oswego State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Spring Flowering Bulb Sale is now open as a fundraiser supporting community causes.
Campus community members can welcome spring by purchasing 6-inch or 7-inch potted flowering spring bulbs provided by Darling Elves Flower and Gift Shop in Oswego. In addition to brightening a home or office, flowering bulbs can be a gift for birthdays, Easter or just to brighten someone's day.
The flowering pots cost $13 for one, or two for $25. There are many varieties and colors from which to choose - including a mixed-variety pot or a single-variety pot of tulip, daffodil, hyacinth, Easter lily or chrysanthemum.
Place your order by Friday, March 12, via SEFA's online store. Payment is via the safe, secure CashNet portal (credit/debit card only). Contact-free, curbside pickup will be available at the north side loading dock of Lanigan Hall from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday April 1.
Orders also can also be donated to brighten up student quarantine and isolation rooms on campus. All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the United Way of Greater Oswego County.
