The college’s State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) campaign continues its sponsorship of the annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign, which provides school supplies to children in need in Oswego County’s nine school districts. 

Collection boxes around campus (see below) will receive drop offs. The collection is underway and will run through Aug. 16. The effort unfolds in partnership with the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Members of the campus community are invited to help provide Oswego County schoolchildren with the supplies they will need, including:

  • Backpacks (large and small)
  • Pens (black and/or blue)
  • #2 pencils
  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • Highlighters
  • Dry erase markers
  • D-ring binders (between one and two inches)
  • Loose-leaf paper
  • Spiral notebooks (one-subject through five-subject types)
  • Tabbed dividers for binders
  • Pocket folders
  • Erasers
  • Hard pencil cases
  • Composition books
  • Glue sticks
  • Thumb drives
  • Post-It notes
  • Simple function calculators
  • Rulers
  • Index cards
  • Safety scissors

Confirmed drop-off locations to date include Culkin Hall, Mahar Hall, Park/Wilber halls, the Parking Office, Rich Hall,  Shineman Center and SUNY Oswego's Syracuse Campus. Watch for other possible drop-box locations around campus.
