SUNY Oswego's SHOP (Students Helping Oz Peers) pantry happily announced receiving a $1,600 grant from the Food Bank of Central New York College Hunger Grant Funds.

SHOP opened its pantry in October 2016 as the first student-run food and clothing pantry within the SUNY system. It provides students, faculty and staff with free non-perishable food, toiletries, sexual and reproductive health products, and professional and winter apparel.

SHOP is a collaborative effort between on and off-campus partners who recognize the need to address food insecurity on our campus.

Hours for SHOP this semester are 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Fridays. In addition, this spring SHOP will add a branch to service SUNY Oswego's Syracuse Campus.
