 Good morning, Lakers,

I hope everyone is doing great and excited to be on campus.

SUNY Oswego has many opportunities for you to get involved around campus, such as leadership opportunities like being a Senator for the Student Association. It is a great opportunity to get started as a freshman if you are looking for leadership opportunities and a great resume builder.

Student Association is a student government and funds over 140 clubs and organizations around the campus, including the ALANA orgs and big media organizations like WTOP and WNYO. Also, the Student Association funds the Centro bus, which is available to every student on campus.

As a Senator you are the voice of the students, which means you will be able to make changes on campus. Senate meetings are on Tuesdays at 6 p.m.

If you would like to know more and would like to become Senator, please contact sa.president@oswego.edu and sa.vp@oswego.edu. You can also stop by the Point office in Marano Campus Center to get your petitions.

Sincerely,

Sugarmaa N. Feyling
Student Association Vice President
