Registration is now open for SUNY Oswego’s 2025 Summer Sessions, offering more than 350 courses across a wide range of undergraduate and graduate disciplines.

Summer Sessions provide students the opportunity to stay on track, get ahead or catch up on credits. Additionally, students can use Summer Session credits to maintain an Excelsior Scholarship and to remain on course for the Oswego Guarantee

Online offerings are designed to make it more convenient for students to make progress on their degrees from wherever they are during the summer. 

2025 Summer Sessions calendar:

  • Session 1: May 27 – June 13 (three weeks)
  • Session 2: June 16 – July 3 (three weeks)
  • Session 3: July 7 – July 25 (three weeks)
  • Session 4: July 28 – Aug. 15 (three weeks)
  • Session 1 and 2 Combined: May 27 – July 3 (six weeks)
  • Session 3 and 4 Combined: July 7 – Aug. 15 (six weeks)
  • Full Summer (Sessions 1–4): May 27 – Aug. 15 (12 weeks)

Important dates (no class meetings or coursework due):

  • Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day)
  • Thursday, June 19 (Juneteenth)
  • Friday, July 4 (Independence Day)

Students will be able to earn up to 15 credits during Summer Sessions.
