SUNY Oswego’s 13th annual Sportsmanship Day Symposium invites submissions from members of the campus community for its first-ever virtual edition on Thursday, March 4.

Students, faculty and staff are welcome to present at this symposium by contacting the campus event’s founder and coordinator, sociology professor Tim Delaney, via email at Tim.Delaney@oswego.edu. The program will begin at 2:30 p.m. on March 4.

The multi-disciplinary look at sportsmanship has a “Sportsmanship During a Pandemic” theme this year, but presenters can choose any topic related to sportsmanship. As with previous years, the symposium is presented by the sociology department and the sports studies program in conjunction with the 31st annual National Sportsmanship Day.

For more information, contact Delaney or email Beth Messana at Elizabeth.Messana@oswego.edu.
