The 88th Annual Commencement Eve Torchlight Ceremony -- one of Oswego’s longest-standing traditions -- will welcome the newest graduating students into the Oswego Alumni Association on Friday, May 10.

The event, taking place in a large tent in lot E-31 (between Marano Campus Center and Penfield Library), will begin with Senior Sing at 8 p.m., then the 8:30 p.m. Torchlight Ceremony

The campus is invited to join the Oswego community of faculty, staff, students and alumni who will represent decades of Oswego classes in one of the oldest, most revered traditions on campus. These alumni, as well as faculty and university administrators, will join students in the symbolic passing of the Torch of Learning during a candlelight ceremony as graduates officially take their place in the family of SUNY Oswego alumni -- 94,000 strong and growing.

No RSVP is required for graduates and family members attending the Torchlight Ceremony unless you are a faculty/staff/alum of SUNY Oswego and wish to sit in on the inner circle. If you wish to participate in the inner circle, please RSVP using the form below that best matches your affiliation with the university:
