SUNY Oswego’s SEFA (State Employee Federated Appeal) campaign again will partner with Laker hockey teams and Toys for Tots for the sixth annual Teddy Bear Toss.
Laker hockey fans are welcome to the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall this year for two Teddy Bear Toss games. The women’s hockey game takes place this weekend -- at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 -- with the Oswego men's hockey game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8.
Fans can bring stuffed animals to the game to throw onto the ice after the Lakers score their first goal. Stuffed animals to support the cause also will be available for purchase for donation through the SEFA storefront.
All proceeds will remain in the Oswego area via the United Way subsidiary Toys for Tots.
