SUNY Oswego has a very special event coming up in the university’s first Presidential Inauguration in more than years on Friday, Sept. 27. For the ceremony officially inducting Peter O. Nwosu, the Public Ceremonies Committee needs a talented and dedicated team to help guide guests to and in Marano Campus Center’s Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall.

From about noon to 1:15 p.m., volunteers will be needed around the building and in the arena to ensure people can make their way successfully and get into the correct areas. From around 1:15 p.m. through about 3 p.m., all volunteers are welcome to come to the arena to ensure any guest needs are supported.

As a thank you for taking part in this special day, all volunteers will receive a complimentary lunch at Crossroads between 11 a.m. and noon. The Public Ceremonies Committee will provide names of volunteers after confirmation and training.

Those interested in volunteering or more information about this request can email Public Ceremonies Committee member Tim Nekritz, tim.nekritz@oswego.edu.
