Sign-ups are open for a set of three make-and-take events that are among the many offerings for the college's second Wellness Day on Tuesday, March 23.
Positive Plants: Pot Your Own Succulent will take place from 4 to 4:20 p.m. Live on Zoom, participants will follow the step-by-step assembly of their very own succulent, and discuss the benefits of greenery in indoor spaces.
A hands-on workshop, Essential Oils for Relaxation, running from 6 to 7 p.m. will feature doTerra Wellness Advocate and Educator Sarah Trunfio guiding participants through practical uses of essential oils to promote overall health, wellness and relaxation techniques. This will also take place via Zoom.
Students seeking an activity they can complete on their own time can access a limited number of Make Your Own Sand Art kits, fully equipped with 5+ varying colors of sand, a small container to capture the creative design and a funnel for assembly ease.
Free supplies for these events are provided. Pre-registration for supplies is required. Event organizers will deliver supplies to students living on campus or students can pick up their supplies at The Compass, 145 Marano Campus Center. Those who preregister will receive an email with more information.
