Take Back the Night, slated Oct. 28, is Women's Center's annual event designed to raise awareness for sexual assault, establish a sense of community and rally Oswego's campus against sexual violence.

Instead of the Take Back the Night walk around campus, Women's Center will host a free virtual event over Zoom, starting at 7 p.m. and including a student-led panel, a special guest speaker, performances, spoken words and more.

This year Katie Koestner, the creator of the Take Back the Night foundation, will speak about the history of Take Back the Night, her story and overcoming. Women's Center will also have a panel of speakers from various SUNY Oswego organizations and special performances.

Free Take Back the Night T-shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

To join the event, use the zoom meeting ID 915 0593 3207, or visit the Zoom link. For more information, please contact womenscenteroswego@gmail.com.
