WRVO Public Media is commemorating Juneteenth with the one-hour radio special "What Is Owed?" exploring the history of reparations demands and efforts to repay victims of systematic oppression against Black Americans.

Airing at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, the special emphasizes the voices of Black activists fighting for reparations since the nation's founding.

WRVO Public Media is a non-profit, non-commercial, multi-platform news and information service, licensed to the State University of New York. An NPR member station, WRVO serves residents of central and northern New York State from broadcast studios and administrative offices located on the SUNY Oswego campus, with a satellite studio located at the SUNY Oswego Syracuse campus.
