Dear SUNY Oswego faculty and students,

Due to the impact of  COVID-19 and following the Oswego Forward Plan, for the 2020-2021 academic year, the Research and Individualized Student Experiences (RISE) Office, supported by the Provost's Office, will help fund student participation in “virtual” presentations at conferences, exhibits or performances. Preference will be given to students who are presenting their work. Because physical travel won’t be supported, in most cases, the RISE travel grant supports the registration (or other participation) fees at virtual conferences, exhibits or performances.

To apply, visit the RISE travel grants webpage and fill out the application form along with a “faculty sponsor form”. Please read the guidelines for applying for student travel support (PDF) at the RISE webpage before preparing your request.

Student travel grant awardees are required to submit a summary of their experience to the RISE office within one month of the event.

Best,

Taejin Jung
Director of the RISE
