The college's Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student organization will host "How to Stand Out to an Employer" at 7 pm tonight (Sept. 29).
SHRM alumnus Jansen Mercado, a Class of 2017 graduate who is now a recruiter for Helio Health, and Business Career Coach Taeko Kelly of Career Services will walk participants through how to stand out to employers throughout their internship/job searching, applying and interviewing processes. This also is a free virtual opportunity to network with an alumni recruiter and connect with other SUNY Oswego students. The virtual presentation will take place via Zoom.
The Oswego Alumni Association, with support from The Fund for Oswego, also sponsors this event.
