Did you know October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM)?
The Department of Homeland Security defines NCSAM as a “collaborative effort between government and industry to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that all Americans have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online.”
In recognition of NCSAM, Campus Technology Services is sponsoring a variety of online, virtual activities intended to engage the campus community about protecting your online data and accounts, phishing awareness and other topics related to cybersecurity. The entire campus community is invited to participate in the month’s events, which include a Phishing Derby, a Virtual Cybersecurity Scavenger Hunt and an online Cybersecurity & Privacy Fair hosted by Stanford University IT.
