Beginning today at 9 a.m., and for the remainder of the fall semester, SUNY Oswego will offer free local apples to our students and members of the campus community.

Stop by any of the following locations on campus and sample various types of apples (Honeycrisp, Ambrosia, Pink Lady and SnapDragon varieties) that have been locally grown right here in Oswego, at Ontario Orchards

  • Penfield Library - near entrance to 24-hour study room
  • Marano Campus Center – Welcome Desk
  • Marano Campus Center – Entrance (across from Shineman)
  • Entrance between Park and Wilber halls

The varieties of apples will be labeled at each location and napkins will be available for people to use to pick up their apples as a cross contact prevention. All apples will be pre-washed for your safety but we encourage you to wash the apples you select again before eating.

We hope you all enjoy this fall treat.  Be well and stay safe.
