During the Winter Session, Counseling Services will be open and services are available for students. Regular office hours for the Winter Session are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and students may ask about services or get connected with a counselor by calling 315-312-4416. Learn more on the Counseling Services website.

Let's Talk, a drop-in consultation service where students may speak with a counselor without setting up a formal appointment, will also be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 2 p.m., and Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m. on Zoom via the Let's Talk link.

If these services do not meet your needs and you are interested in connecting with a mental health provider in your area or who meets your individual needs, Counseling Services has created some resources to help you in that process:

This is a list of resources to get connected with a mental health provider. It includes broad resources to get connected with providers in different areas of the state and country, as well as providers who specialize in working with people of all identities, abilities and experiences.

Self-care is also important and Counseling Services has created some resources to help you find ways to take care of yourself this winter. This includes a self-care guide, a self-care podcast, meditations and creative prompts to experiment with -- because it is important to take time for yourself.

These Counseling Services Center hours apply for Dec. 14 to Jan. 22, except when the office is closed for a holiday break from Dec. 25 to Jan. 3.
