History faculty member Lyn Blanchfield will present "Writing Scholarship Applications" at 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19 as part of the college's Write Ways Series.

This interactive workshop will focus on techniques and tricks for completing scholarship applications for study abroad (like the Gilman, the Boren, and the Freeman-Asia Scholarships) and SUNY Oswego scholarships for current students. Please bring any questions or concerns you have to share.

For the Spring 2021 semester, all Write Ways Series workshops will run 3 to 4 p.m. as virtual events accessible via this Zoom link

All workshops are open to students, faculty and staff, and unfold as interactive sessions to improve writing skills -- from comma usage to crafting effective emails to planning your essay and more. No registration is required.

Contact Steven Smith (steven.smith@oswego.edu) or Stephanie Pritchard (stephanie.pritchard@oswego.edu) if you have questions.

The Write Ways Series is sponsored by the Office of Learning Service Writing Center and the Writing Fellows Program.
