Effective July 1, Campus Technology Services will deactivate all personal billing numbers (PBNs). A PBN is used to make phone calls from on-campus to off campus numbers. The usage of PBNs has dropped dramatically the last few years and the costs associated with managing them has risen. Anyone with a positive or negative balance will be contacted directly so accounts can be reconciled.
CTS will continue to issue business-related billing numbers to all employees.
As a reminder, telephone usage is intended for college business. Personal calls should be incidental and kept to a minimum.
