With a first week of fall 2021 classes in the books, students are invited to come and play for the annual LakerFest, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, on Onondaga Field.
The west campus location will feature a variety of food, games, activities and more for the event, which is free and open to the campus community and sponsored by the Office of Residence Life and Housing.
Expected activities include:
- Games and rides including a zipline, inflatables, mechanical bull and more
- Live music by recent SUNY Oswego alum Zach Blaszak
- Food trucks including Macarollin' Gourmet Macaroni & Cheese and Skippy's Ice Cream
- Make-and-take items such as build a buddy and custom street signs
- Henna tattoos, a caricaturist, photo booth and more
LakerFest wraps up a slate of Opening Week activities but serves as a bridge to even more activities in the weeks to come. Visit the campus events calendar to see upcoming activities.
