The SUNY Oswego Fitness Centers will host the 14th annual Great Pumpkin 5K Run/Walk at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22.
The entry fee is $5 and all proceeds benefit the Oswego chapter of Blessings in a Backpack, a non-profit organization that provides food to area school children at risk of going hungry on the weekend.
Participants can register online before Thursday, Oct. 21, or register the day of the event beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the Marano Campus Center food court.
T-Shirts are available for the first 75 registrations. The event will include raffle prizes and trophies/medals for top three times (men and women).
Cider, donuts and pumpkin decorating will be available after the race.
