Campus Technology Services (CTS) announced on March 9 the campus will add a second layer of authentication to certain campus services including Blackboard, Zoom, Office 365, Adobe, Library databases, Administrative Banner and Spectrum U. This second layer of authentication is called multi-factor authentication (MFA) and requires the use of your normal password along with a code sent to an app or phone.

As of 8 a.m. today, MFA is now mandatory for all residential students. Any residential student that did not opt-in will now be prompted to do so the next time they login to one of the above services.

Non-residential students can still opt-in to MFA prior to their April 18 deadlineFollow this link to get started. Once opted-in, MFA will be available for you to use after 4:30 pm that same day excluding weekends. It is highly recommended for off-campus students to opt-in before April 18. If you do not, you will be prompted to do so once you access one of the above services. This could happen at an inconvenient time.  Please allow 5 to 10 minutes to configure MFA.

Additional information including instructions and Zoom office hours for assistance are available on the MFA website
