The SEFA (State Employees Federated Appeal) planning committee currently is running two drives -- the Food and Pet Supply Drive through the end of this week (Friday, Dec. 2), and SUNY Oswego's 35th annual Toy Drive, through Wednesday, Dec. 7, with pickups on Dec. 8.

For the Food and Pet Supply Drive, SEFA asks you to consider bringing in non-perishable food items that will be donated to Human Concerns Food Pantry in Oswego and the Salvation Army, or pet supplies/food, which will be donated to Paws Across Oswego County and the Oswego Animal Shelter.

The Toy Drive asks members of the campus community to consider bringing in an unwrapped toy, which will be distributed by the Oswego County Children’s Fund to kids in need around Oswego County during early December. Look for trees and wreaths around buildings with a little more information on children in the program, and what presents they want.

If you would prefer to participate with a monetary donation, checks (made out to Auxiliary Services - Toy Drive) may be sent to Cathy Johnston at 702 Culkin Hall.

As always, SEFA thanks you for your continued generosity toward helping others in the community have a wonderful holiday season.
