Graduate Studies will hold the annual Three-Minute Thesis Wednesday, at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, via Zoom.

"Three-Minute Thesis celebrates the exciting research conducted by graduate students at SUNY Oswego," stated Dean of Graduate Studies Kristen Eichhorn, "this competition cultivates students' academic, presentation, and communication skills with the added value of practicing their virtual presentations necessary for 21st-century workplaces".

The Three-Minute Thesis competition supports students' capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. Winners of the SUNY Oswego competition will have the opportunity to present at the regional competition as part of the Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools in Portsmouth, N.H., in April 2023.

Everyone in the SUNY Oswego community is invited to attend and cast their vote in the People's Choice category. Students, participants, faculty and staff are invited to share the Zoom link with anyone who might be interested in learning what our Graduate Students are researching.
