Registration is open for the 2023 edition of SUNY Oswego's popular Barbara Shineman Summer Scholars youth camps, July 24 through Aug. 18 on campus.

Sheldon Institute, now in its 44th year, provides opportunities for growth and learning in disciplines such as art, science, technology, humanities, wellness and leadership (just to name a few) for youth ages 7 to 15.  These camps are designed for youth to discover, collaborate and create all while developing new friendships.

Plus SUNY Oswego's STEAM Camp (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) offers a variety of opportunities to explore and discover robotics, virtual reality, gaming, circuitry, and green screening for youth ages 7 to 11.

Families can register for one or both weeks of each program. Activities will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a flexible drop-off/pick-up between 8 and 9 a.m. and 4 and 5 p.m. each day.

Cost is $160 per week per child, with scholarships available (as part of the application process) for families who would need financial support for attendance.

Online registration continues on a space-available basis. For more information, visit the Barbara Shineman Summer Scholars website or email summeryouthprogram@oswego.edu.
