Various offices have submitted 2023 summer break information as follows:
Residence Life and Housing
- Residence halls will close at noon on Saturday, May 13. Students who are graduating may stay up to two hours after their Commencement ceremony concludes.
- Summer school housing move-in will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 13.
Retail dining operations
- Lake Effect Cafe will close at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 12; then will re-open Mondays through Fridays, June 20 to July 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Fusion Cafe will close at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 12.
- Refresh closes at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 4 for the summer.
- Marano Campus Center food court will close at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 11.
- Crossroads will be open Mondays through Fridays during the summer from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Residential dining centers
- Lakeside and Pathfinder will close after dinner at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12.
- Cooper will close for regular service after lunch on Friday, May 12 -- please note Cooper will serve a Commencement Brunch on Saturday, May 13, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a cash price of $11 per person or by using a meal plan.
- Late Night at Lakeside and Pathfinder will end on Thursday, May 11.
- Lite Bite, The Crave and Global Faire will end on Thursday, May 11.
Penfield Library
These hours will be in effect from May 22 to Aug. 11:
- Mondays through Thursdays: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Fridays: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays: closed (except on Saturday, June 10, open 9 a.m. to noon)
- Closed for holidays on May 29, June 19 and July 4
College Stores
Beginning May 15:
- The Lanigan Hall store will open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays through May 24, then will only be open on Orientation days during the summer.
- The Marano Campus Center store will open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays (not open June 19, July 3, July 4 and July 28); will also have special hours for special campus events during the summer.
- The Penfield store will not be open.
Health Services
Health Services clinic will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from May 15 through Aug. 18. All visits are by scheduled appointment via the Patient Portal (no walk-ins). Please check the Health Services website for any additional closures.
Counseling Services
Counseling Services will be open May 15 to Aug. 18 (closed for holidays).
Visits are by appointment only (no walk-ins) Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling the Counseling Center at 315-312-4416.
The Point
The Point will be open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the summer. Will be closed for holidays.
Box Office
Walk-up windows will close May 8 for summer recess, reopening on Aug. 21. Online sales will be available via tickets.oswego.edu.
Student Association
The office in 131 Marano Campus Center will have summer hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 12 through Aug. 24.
The Student Association Check Cashing Service in Marano Campus Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from May 8 to 11, then will close until reopening at 10 a.m. on July 31.
Campus Recreation
- Cooper Fitness Center will close Friday, May 12 at 4:30 p.m.; Cooper will reopen on Tuesday, May 30, with summer hours of 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekends.
- Glimmerglass Fitness Center will close Thursday, May 11, at 10 p.m.
- Lee Hall recreation will close on Friday, May 12, at 4:30 p.m.; Lee reopens on Tuesday, May 30, with hours of noon to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and noon to 4 p.m. Fridays.
Campus Technology Services
The Help Desk will be open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the summer session.
Parking
The Parking Office hours remain the same for the summer, but will be closed May 29, July 3 and July 4.
