One of the most popular fundraisers of the university’s State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) campaign, the 2023 edition of Baskets of Caring is now live online via this link and will return in person on Nov. 14 and 15.
For this fundraiser supporting the United Way of Greater Oswego County, participants can view 16 themed baskets put together by members of the campus community and place votes on a basket or baskets for a chance to win.
After viewing the online selection, participants use this form to select the baskets they would like to take a chance on for $1 each, then pay via this link to the SEFA storefront. Virtual submissions must be paid for by 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, to be eligible to win.
Baskets will be on display and chances available for purchase in the Marano Campus Center concourse on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 14 and 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A live drawing to select basket winners will take place at 3 p.m. on Nov. 15 at the basket sale area. Only cash is accepted at the in-person event.
Winners do not need to be present but must be able to pick any basket they have won in person by Nov. 17.
