Students will screen some of their top work when the Cinema Studies Senior Showcase takes over Oswego 7 Cinemas on West Second Street in downtown Oswego from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

Organizers said the showcase will feature "poignancy and irreverence, tenderness and gore, murder and repair," as soon-to-be-graduates of the cinema and screen studies program present their recent films. Plots include: A holdup thwarted by the thief’s mother, a road trip leading to a revelation, Bigfoot delivering epic wedgies, life as seen from the bottom of a cup, love on the run in a trailer park, cheesy horror and cheesy pizza, and more.
