Employees are invited to join Voya Rep Aaron Cahill and local Oswego attorney Nicole Reed from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 6 in 205 Marano Campus Center to learn about improving individuals' and families' knowledge and experiences with estate planning in a way that is intended to be natural and comfortable. This workshop is not limited to Voya contract holders and is open to all.

Registration is required via this link as lunch will be provided.

Attorney Nicole K. Reed, Esq. will cover estate planning topics and answer questions throughout, including on what estate planning is, different methods assets are passed on, wills, trusts: revocable vs. irrevocable, Medicaid asset protection trusts, special needs trusts and more.

Reed has worked as a paralegal for over 25 years in estate and real estate law, helping many families in the Central New York area. She graduated from Syracuse College of Law in 2020 with a desire to continue in these areas of law, improving families' experiences and promoting estate planning in a way that is natural and comfortable. These are not always easy legal matters to discuss, especially with a stranger, she noted. Reed wants families to leave her office feeling better, knowing they are understood and that she is on their team and looking out for their best interests.
