The annual State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) United Way Bake Off has its first event on Monday, and bakers and tasters are needed.

On Monday, Feb. 24, Bake Offs will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in 211 Culkin Hall (contact cathy.johnston@oswego.edu if interested in baking) and at the Marano Campus Center concourse (contact madeling.ewig@oswego.edu).

On Monday, March 3, Bake Offs will take place in Park Hall (contact mangala.nanthakumar@oswego.edu) and Tyler Hall (contact judith.collette@oswego.edu). Both will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All proceeds from the Bake Offs will be donated to the Untied Way of Greater Oswego County.

Bakers are asked to bring treats in taste-size portions wrapped in plastic, in baggies or in cupcake paper cups. No refrigerated desserts will be allowed, and treats will be sold for 50 center each. In addition to traditional entries, SEFA encourages bakers to consider making special items like those that are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan or sugar-free to expand the number of tasters who can enjoy this fundraiser.
